The Death of Law and Order

Dear friends, Lend me your ears;
I come to bury Saddam, not to praise him.
The evil that men do, lives on after them,
The good is often buried with their bones.
So let it be with Saddam.
The noble BushHas told you that Saddam was cruel;
If it were so, it was a grievous fault,
And greviously has Saddam answered it.
Here- under the leave of Bush and the rest-
For Bush is an honourable man;
So are they all, all honourable men-
Come I to speak in Saddam's funeral.
He was not just a dictator.
He was something more than that.
Saddam created a modern, secular republic.
In his Iraq, women wore skirts and worked in office
and men freely drank in the bars.
He never allowed Iraq's foreign policy to be guided by religion.
On the Kashmir issue, Iraq always backed India at the UN,
Nullifying Pakistan's Islamic card.
But you say Bush is an honourable man.
We now know that Saddam never sponsored terrorism,
no WMD's were found.
Maybe some day we will know
whether all those gory tales of his dictatorship are true or not.
Every man, no matter how evil, holds the right to a fair trial.
I mourn on the ruthless slaughter of Law, Justice, Fairness and Impartiality by USA
May Law's soul rest in Peace ॐ
